It sounds like Texas is getting less red every day. And there are more Hispanics registering to vote in Texas all the time.

Beto O'Rourke almost won an election in Texas, that is how far Texas has moved. O'Rourke did better in Texas than trump did in America in general.

Hispanics and blacks have the lowest unemployment rate in modern history. My esposa is Latina and she and most of her Hispanic friends will be voting for President Trump.

Some polls show an 18 to 30% favor ability now vs. 7% in 2016 when he won.

If accurate, another landslide victory in 2020.

Almost doesn't count in elections. only horseshoes and grenades.

Nice to see the Texas demographics are becoming more educated and less religious.

From what I've read Texas has had tremendous growth. You have a business friendly, low tax and relatively low cost of living environment. What baffles me is people who move there from California let's say because they get priced out and then want to implement the same policies that caused them to leave.

Of course it's possible they are playing 3D chess and are thinking once they move and can buy a home they want to implement the California NIMBY anti-growth policies to increase their new property's value. I guess in that sense you have to hate the game and not the player.

You Texas reds, explain why blacks and Hispanics there vote against your party.

    They hate you.
Russian trolls and their supporters go on Ignore, automatically: no second chance.

You cannot say that Texas is getting redder, and then complain it does not matter if it is or is not.

Close means it is getting bluer.

You are looking at it the wrong way around.

Silicon Valley is creating more wealth than almost anything else in history. There is no way to stuff all the wealthy people into the relatively small area of the Silicon Valley, so some are moving out to start up Silicon Valleys in other places. They want to create the success of the Silicon Valley elsewhere, and do not see themselves as fleeing a failure.

I was nearly one of those people. I could have gotten lost playing flag football with my kid inside my own mansion with a giant pimped out video room and stuff in nowheresville Tx. Texas is definitely expecting a load of affluent. They've build enough identical looking 4000 sq ft McMansions on three acres to house the entire US middle class. Step outside and it's 1000 degrees Kelvin and raining.
I said no spank you to that.
