We keep hearing that any day now, suddenly the Brexiteers will start winning the trade negotiations. Deals take time, and professionals, neither of which the UK has. More importantly, the UK simply does not have the leverage.

How long before we can announce these claims are wrong? Obviously, the previous claims of a great deal for the UK were wrong, but the current claims, how long?
