    “Lock her up!” Hahahaha!
And they had to soften the sham of not even allowing the House evidence generated from the Impeachment Inquiry, too.

They were afraid the total sham would look bad, so they are going with 'sham-light.'

Either way, it is still a mockery of justice.

The House made their case for impeachment and now the Senate will consider the merits of that case.

If the House wanted additional witnesses and documents, that should have been done before submitting their case to the Senate. This shows the inherent weakness in their case.

The Senate will consider the case sent to them. That’s how it works in America...by the Constitution.

Jarod actually have a point this time(throws up in mouth). The Republicans could have avoided the House Democrats ability to make arguments based on information that was not used by them to impeach the president days ago.. they could have summarily dismissed it.

If Republicans are seen as not taking this trial seriously, they will win big in Red States where they were already going to win big, and they will lose in the Battleground States. It will destroy them.

If this trial spins out of control, Republicans will again lose the Battleground States.

There only hope is to find some sort of stealth dismissal.

Well I know that is what I would like to see happen, and what I feel is right, but we should have all learned by now not to underestimate the amazing world's greatest con man.

His abilities to spin this will be his ultimate test.

I don't think he is going to take it lying down.

He must not only be beaten in the 2020 election, but it must be a resounding win. It has to overcome not only the Russian meddling, but the near-certainty that Trump will challenge any close loss in the courts, and refuse to leave office.

We all have to do everything in our power to make this 2020 election a total crushing of Trump.

The best outcome would be that many Republicans who would be reluctant trump voters would be too ashamed to vote. Not voting means they not only do not vote for trump, but other Republicans lose.

Now the trump supporters will tell you that it is absolutely "guaranteed" that trump will win in a "huge landslide". I will not go the other way. It is very possible trump can win, but it is also possible he could lose, and hurt Republicans. Keeping up the pressure on his corruption will hopefully lead to his loss.

Removing a sitting president that the American people elected, by a few radical Democrat Socialists in Congress, is not going to happen.

.There is no crime and there will be no conviction.

These radical Democrat Socialists and anarchists will pay a price in Nov.

    Is today a school day?

Oh they have the votes! But decorum requires that the Senate allow the House to prove beyond a shadow of doubt that this whole thing has been a circus from day one.
