Perhaps the Dems should try collusion again.

Republicans have not shown the unity to get this over immediately. Remember when trump was demanding an immediate dismissal?

Nobody knows what Hunter or the WB would say. Think about that. Imagine having an actual trial where witnesses take the stand that neither side has deposed.

This is not the way it’s supposed to work.

The current unity issue with Democrats over Hunter Biden.

This morning they were ‘mulling over it’ but Shifty was denouncing it this afternoon. Democrats also keep citing the poll numbers that favor witnesses—but it’s likely people are wanting to hear ALL witnesses and not just the witnesses Democrats want.

At any rate, if there are no witnesses [and that ball is in the Democrats court] this should be over quick.

    Which is his right lol.

If we make invoking executive privilege an impeachable offense—we are going to see a lot more impeachments. Probably will anyway, after this.

Executive privilege has conditions. Trump is not above the law. When you claim executive privilege, you cannot do a blanket statement. Even rightys can understand how that would put him above the law. He has to be specific and in the documentation, they have to go through the papers and have what should not be known, blacked out.Trump has resisted that because he is way too lazy to do that much work.

THE INNOCENT ARE HOT REQUIRED TO PROVE THEIR INNOCENCE; the STALIN-O-CRATS MUST PROVE THE CASE THEY VOTED ON...and THEY KNOW THEY CANNOT.

But he hasn’t invoked executive privilege his lawyers lied. Also, some requested documents were released under FOIA, how is that possible if Trump has claimed executive privilege. This is just another distraction. Also, remember the Supreme Court ruling on Nixon and executive privilege.

It may be his right and it also shows his fear about what Bolton might say. He should welcome testimony that would presumably prove trump didn't do what he did for nefarious reasons.

If the repugs were so certain of trump's rightness they would welcome their people like Bolton testifying to that.

Well, Trump said today he wanted to hear from Bolton, so that’s out.

The witness thing is up to Democrats and whether they’re willing to risk putting Hunter on the stand in exchange for Bolton.

What do you suppose they fear?
