So, what "nightingale" is telling us, obviously without explanation, is that Russia played no role in the 2016 election, none, and, a sitting President asking a foreign entity to investigate his political rival isn't connecting that entity to our election

I can pretty much guess that requesting "nightingale" to clarify his comments would only result in a response on semantics

The actual timeline of the Burisma investigation does just that.

Burisma Holdings was not under scrutiny at the time Joe Biden called for Shokin's ouster, according to the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine, an independent agency set up in 2014 that has worked closely with the FBI.

Shokin's office had investigated Burisma, but the probe focused on a period before Hunter Biden joined the company, according to the anti-corruption bureau.

The investigation dealt with the Ministry of Ecology, which allegedly granted special permits to Burisma between 2010 and 2012, the agency said. Hunter Biden did not join the company until 2014.
What kind of country have we become?

One in which federal prosecutors can take “evidence” before a “grand jury,”

and that grand jury can “vote to indict” a former president for 91 alleged “crimes”?

A Modest Proposal For Separating Blue States From Red

    Dear Red-State Trump Voter,
Let’s face it, guys: We’re done.

It is a tragedy that so much of the work that so many men and women toiled at for so long to make this a better country, and a better world, has been thrown away, leaving us all in such needless peril.

This is why our separation in all but name is necessary.

Schiff: "We've been very good to your country. Very good. No other country has done as much as we have. But you know what? I don't see much reciprocity here.".

Trump: "I will say that we do a lot for Ukraine. We spend a lot of effort and a lot of time. Much more than the European countries are doing and they should be helping you more than they are. Germany does almost nothing for you. All they do is talk and I think it's something that you should really ask them about. When I was speaking to Angela Merkel she talks Ukraine, but she ·doesn't do anything. A lot of the European countries are the same way so I think it's something you want to look at but the United States has been very very good to Ukraine. I wouldn't say that it's reciprocal necessarily because things are happening that are not good but the United States has been very very good to Ukraine."

Schiff: "I will say that we do a lot for Ukraine. We spend a lot of effort and a lot of time. Much more than the European countries are doing and they should be helping you more than they are." Trump then said of the US-Ukraine relationship: "I wouldn't say that it's reciprocal necessarily because things are happening that are not good but the United States has been very very good to Ukraine."

Trump: "I would like you to do us a favor though because our country has been through a lot and Ukraine knows a lot about it….. There's a lot of talk about Biden's son, that Biden stopped the prosecution and a lot of people want to find out about that so whatever you can do with the Attorney General would be great. Biden went around bragging that he stopped the prosecution so if you can look into it... It sounds horrible to me."

Schiff: "I hear what you want. I have a favor I want from you, though. And I'm going to say this only seven times, so you better listen good. I want you to make up dirt on my political opponent. Understand? Lots of it, on this and on that."

let's be real then, if we heard half of what any of them, both sides talked about behind closed doors

they're politicians, they are all, or have become repulsive.

it seems as repulsed as you pretend to be you would be the one who thought Trump was a breath of fresh air.

he has the swamp reeling, they are beside themselves, they don't know whether they are coming or going, turn the TV on and watch these idiots repeat themselves over and over and over like senile old women. Trump is in their heads, it's a good thing.

and you know the Bidens, jr and his repulsive father were up to no good in Ukraine, stop fooling yourself

trump is a loose cannon, and loose cannons you never know what they might hit. And he's got a whole family of cockroaches in the kitchen with the light on right now

The demagogued film clip you are referring to has no relevance to Trump's activity, first off the investigation that prosecutor had into Burisma was dead, dormant, and it never involved Biden's kid. Secondly, Biden was acting in concurrence with the EU and other interests who felt the prosecutor was promoting rather than investigating corruption

And no the language was not DO A FAVOER.....keep up "chuckie", the transcribed phone conversation said, "Do "us" as in WE THE PEOPLE...a favor. And as a matter of congressional record during the supposed impeachment house inquiry, the only factual witness that actually talked to Mr. Trump said under oath, "When I asked Mr. Trump just what he wanted from Ukraine, Mr Trump said, NOTHING, I WANT NOTHING, no quid pro quo, I just want Ukraine to DO THE RIGHT THING....." do the right thing? Live up to the conditions of the 1998 Treaty....and investigate why Biden had a prosecutor fired (long before Biden ever thought about running for president)….Trump was asking for an investigation into the 2016 election, not the 2020 election cycle where as of YET....BIDEN has not been appointed to any position where he would be an opponent of Mr. Trump, as he is yet to win any primary that would pit him against Mr. Trump.

What....all you have to do to avoid investigation.....run for public office? Really? That did not appear to stop Comey, McCabe, Brennan, Clapper, Clinton, etc., from investigating the candidate Donald John Trump.

You have no logical train of thought....you only have propaganda.
    And now for the facts:

If only you could find some proof, or even just a specific accusation, then you could start an investigation against him. Sadly(for you), you have no proof. Joe Biden is a boring family guy who took the train to work most of his life. Hunter Biden is a competent lawyer/international businessman who is good at rooting out corruption. Together they are both competent.

I am happy with my life. I am reasonably successful in the most successful country ever. I do not want to risk anything with a "loose cannon" who changes positions mid sentence, and is willing to risk everything, every day, just to prove how supposedly great he is.

My question is how bad is your life that you want to risk America every day?

No. Biden was violating both the treaty between the U.S. and the Ukraine, and U.S. federal law. The EU could care less what prosecutor is in charge of what in the Ukraine. The investigation into Burisma was not dead. It was an active investigation when Biden committed the extortion.
