A criminal and bizarre laughing stock is NOT IDEAL? Wow. You really have set your expectations low.

Republican White trash in the White House is better than a black Democrat in the WH or ANY Democrat in the WH? Does that about sum it up?

Both parties redistribute the wealth through taxes and policies. can you tell who has been winning? The top 10 percent have doubled their wealth in the last few years while the people,le are stagnating or losing. The Dems think the people should share the profits that their labor creates. The top 22 out of 23 countries have universal healthcare. It wasn't too had for them to institute. We are off on a terrible tack making the rich so much richer . Vote for a billionaire and find out how it ends. it will not be for your benefit.

That's the portrayal that the mainstream media likes to go with, but a lot of Americans despise the media and the elitist culture that goes along with it. It's why we sympathize with Trump. He's hated by the same people that hate us as a group.

Your use of "white trash" is exactly what I'm talking about. Rural whites have always been mocked by mainstream media, and so it shouldn't be a surprise that we have no interest in siding with you or your party.

There was a time when Democrats were more representative of the white working class, but that time is over.

How much the wealthy makes is of no concern to me. I care about wage growth among the working class. That's the problem with a lot of progressives. They spend all this time looking at how much the wealthy make without focusing on what actually matters -- economic growth.

In most countries with significant economic growth, the top sees the most gains. That's normal. What matters is that some gains happen for everyone else, but that isn't accomplished by taxing the wealthy more. It has to do with keeping government out of the way of business expansion and investment.

I'm ok with having some sort of socialized medicine, but it should be similar to France's system, not that of the UK or Canada. France has a better design, because there are significant public and private sectors for healthcare that play to the strengths of each market. Public healthcare is better for preventive and basic care, whereas private healthcare is better for advanced care. It's why French citizens pay significant taxes for the public system while still having private insurance to supplement it.

What progressives and liberals must face, however, is that every country with socialized medicine taxes the average citizen more than we do. They don't try to pile on all of the additional taxes against the wealthy. So, if you want to sell the idea of socialized medicine to the public, you're going to have to be honest and let them know that they will be paying more in taxes overall.

Convincing the average citizen to pay more in taxes isn't easy, because they have to trust that the increase in taxation will result in better government services. As many of the high tax states in the US show us, that's not always true.

You really do not understand the policy is to take the money to the top. We focus on that because that is what the Repub policies have mandated.
You are diverted on the tax issues. Universal medical care is cheaper. Full medical coverage for all would save tons of money. It also would remove the cost of healthcare from corporations instantly making them more competitive across the globe. It would also take the administration out of their hands. You have be honest and admit that we pay more than double for less healthcare and denial to millions of citizens.

I'm not "diverted" at all. It is a simple reality that any nation with socialized medicine has higher personal taxation than us at almost every level of income. There are exceptions to this, and some variance is present due to exceptionally high taxing US states, but on average, Americans pay less in taxes than most Europeans. Yes, socialized medicine would reduce costs on many things, but it would not reduce taxation.

Seven Craziest Revelations from Excerpts of the New Trump Exposé Very Stable Genius

    By Ken MeyerJan 15th, 2020, 1:40 pm

“Hey, John, what’s this all about? What’s this a tour of?” Trump asks his then-chief of staff John Kelly, as the men prepare to take a private tour of the USS Arizona Memorial, which commemorates the December 1941 Japanese surprise attack in the Pacific that pulled the United States into World War II.

“Trump had heard the phrase ‘Pearl Harbor’ and appeared to understand that he was visiting the scene of a historic battle, but he did not seem to know much else,” write the authors, later quoting a former senior White House adviser who concludes: “He was at times dangerously uninformed.”...

    dear fucking idiot,

every American would pay less for care

who cares what you label the expense

    yes taxes would go up

and people would no longer have the costs they currently have for medical care.

the trade off is people would NEVER AGAIN WORRY ABOUT LOSING COVERAGE and pay less

    Lighten up, Francis.

How expenses are garnered is actually very important. Higher taxes mean less consumer spending, which a lot of the economy depends on.

If you actually utilize some reading comprehension, you'll notice that I'm not opposed to socialized medicine overall. I'm just making the point that Democrats have to be honest in what implementing it means for the average person in terms of taxes.

the people will no longer be paying for the current healthcare costs

the cost burden is shifted into their tax return and all the money they currently spend on healthcare would be included in that tax.

they would never again have to write a check to any Dr, pharmacy, testing facility, Insurance company .

just have some taxes taken at the end of the year like they already do.

just " oh Im sorry to hear your sick the dr has an opening at 3 will that do?"
