if any of you- any- had a clue you'd realize China has extensive SOE ( state owned enterprises) and is not going to change that.
Yes we wanted that -but it was unrealistic. Like the Trump rally song "you can't always get what you want";
but the rest of the lyric "you get what you need" is also true.

China can buy agri. anywhere - they did for soybeans for awhile -so this is not small feature
as is their commitments to buy machinery , etc. and there are ENFORCEMENT MECHANISMS that will make them.

Finally this is just phase 1. there are at least phase 2 to come,and maybe more. This is all very difficult to get done= why past presidents didn't do it. China is quite happy with the status quo.

The fact Trump is getting it done, shows his abilities,and tenacity of Robert Lighthizer (US trade rep) to do so.
and there is more on the way, beside the other successful trade agreements he's getting done.
