I am an advocate that in order to legally receive a swastika tattoo, you must first pass a German language equivalency test, and present the certificate to your artist. Can't pass the damn test? Then it looks like a black market parlour and hepatitis for you.

I worked for one who couldn't read when I was in HS. He owned a lawncare business and retired early and moved to Florida.
I also worked with one in a fabrication shop who couldn't read, but he could read a tape measure. He ran a metal shear most of his working life and owned 3 properties and a cabin.

And that was the problem with the old literacy tests. They were used by people in power to keep others from voting. They were very popular in communist countries for that very reason.

In America, black Harvard educated lawyers were considered illiterate, while clearly illiterate whites were considered literate. Most whites did not even bother to fill in the literacy question. There was no possible answer a black could give that was good enough.

Oddly enough, Gingrich got his PHD in African Studies. In particular, he studied Belgium Education in the Congo from 1945 to 1960. I do not think his thesis was well done, because he failed to study the actual education facilities on the ground. He instead studied false reports about them in Belgium. But Gingrich is far from illiterate.

Dude, I worked in a high-Tech career for most of my working life, and I learned a very long time ago, that being WHITE was no advantage over people of color in terms of intelligence or qualifications.
