Default Deadly Storms Sweep Through Southern United States, Leaving At Least 9 Dead

    In the middle of Jan

Parts of the region remained in a blackout on Saturday as storms continued to churn. More than 105,000 people in Georgia were without power, according to the website Poweroutage.us. Nearly 83,000 in Alabama and 35,000 people in Mississippi were also without power.

Is there a political point you're trying to make?

The really strange thing about this is when you have someone on the right mention something to disprove man made climate change like extremely cold temps for example they are lectured on the difference between wheather and climate and not to rely on one time events but whenever a one time event happens it is used to prove climate change.

We turned the AC (the "COOL" setting) on several times this past week. DEC and JAN should be 'KW free' months. Sometimes we need the HEAT on FEB.

Those poor folks. It makes you feel so helpless that there isn't much you can do but maybe donate to a place that can help.

Up here in the Frozen North, we've had 2-3 freezing rain/ice events already. This is our fourth winter here; ppl who have lived here since time began say that is very unusual. December and January (so far) have been warmer than average too. Very weird weather.
