The Persians don't have much in the way of an "actual force": Cosmo. They have missiles, world class hackers, drones n' speed boats n' such... burp...

Great week for pres Trump. After this idiotic impeachment gets crushed it will only get better.

Trump exposed Obamas weak FP. Win win win!

I love how leftist in this country are tied to how well Iran is doing.

These radical Democrat Socialists who are apologists for the pariah nation, Iran and Iranian terrorists, will be reminded of their disgusting behavior as we near the Nov. Elections.

The Republican political ads should be stunning.

I have to agree with Burpy on this lol.

I doubt Iran has a sufficient ‘ground game’ to roll into Baghdad. Even if they tried it doesn’t mean they would take it. Which brings us to the inevitable point: sooner or later we are going to leave; and when we do, Iraq will settle into a dispute between the Kurds/Sunni/Shia.

We can’t fix that and there’s no compelling national interest in trying to. Iran is weaker now that it has been in years—if not decades. We can play whack a mole with ISIS from a safe distance—when they aren’t being slaughtered by the Turks, Syrian forces...you get the idea.

The Iraqi parliament kinda/sorta wants us to leave Iraq, so let’s leave Iraq.

There may be no better time than now.

    It's a difficult decision.

Lots of blood and treasure invested in Iraq. I would hate to see Iraq given to Iran which would probably happen shortly after leaving.

A small special forces group, drones, intelligence gathering... a moderate solution.

As President Trump says, we will see what happens.

Well, this is about as ‘easy’ as the decision will get.

To me, this no different than Democrats passing on the censure vote when it was laying right in front of them. Trump has an opportunity to stand on the debate stage next fall and proclaim himself as the president that got us out of Iraq.

The foreign policy geniuses say not to leave Iraq but there’s not a group that has been more consistently wrong about the Middle East than our foreign policy geniuses. Bolton, Bill Kristol and the whole lot of them.

    Trump should get us out.
