Sen. Tammy Duckworth (D-IL) fired back at Rep. Doug Collins (R-GA) on Thursday after he suggested that Democrats support terrorists.
During an interview with Duckworth on CNN, host Brianna Keilar noted that Collins had accused Democrats of being “in love with terrorists” because of their criticism over President Donald Trump’s decision to kill an Iraqi general without consulting Congress.
“I’m not going to justify that with a response,” Duckworth replied. “I left parts of my body in Iraq fighting terrorists. I don’t need to justify myself to anyone.”
The Illinois senator went on to says she was also “disgusted” with Collins for using Gold Star families as a political “pawn.

I have been falsely accused and slandered for a lot of things on message boards, but being accused of loving terrorists is a trip down memory lane!
The last time I was called a terrorist-lover was when I was telling conservatives their rush to invade Iraq was a dumb ass and dangerous idea.

and everyone should read her story
when they trashed John Kerry for his war service I knew the republican party was evil on steroids
I have hated them ever since
they are run by evil sociopaths who honor nothing but money

Trump did the Congress critters a favor by deciding without consulting them. They avoid all responsibility. Imagine what some of you would be saying if you learned that Trump had a chance to take him out, but didn't do it. Imagine if you learned that Congress wouldn't let him do it.
We have already seen the flip-flopping. Condemn Trump for taking action and now say that Trump should play tit-for-tat with missiles. Please make up your minds.
I suspect that, when Trump is gone, many TDS'ers will still be deranged.

they don't honor service
they only praise the troops who vote republican
they hate every troop who didn't vote republican
Mason Michaels (01-10-2020)
they trash the Democratic Party members who voted for the Iraq war
NEVER mentioning all the republicans who voted for Bushs lies
Bush lied this nation to war
the people on the Dem side who voted for it voted without the truth
they trusted the intel the Bush admin gave them
THAT WAS THEIR MISTAKE
and now they take it from everyone for that last vestige of trust
Trust me no one will ever trust the republicans again like that
No, we are not a nation of laws. At least not in our foreign policy. We haven't been in a declared war since 1945. We live in a national security state.
Why did the Democrats give Trump, an alleged Russian asset, $136 billion more than he asked for in the NDAA? So he can drop more bombs for Putin?
Why did the Democrats authorize the expansion of abilities to spy on us?
There is no significant opposition to our wars. Tulsi Gabbard is the only candidate even talking about withdrawing from the Middle East.

You missed his point. Democrats mostly didn't bother to oppose the things he referenced.
As much as the Democrats blast Trump for abusing power, they are more than willing to give him more power via things like the surveillance state.
It's pretty obvious why neither party wants to reduce executive power, however. They enjoy using it when they enter power. Giving Trump more observational powers is a small price for having the same power when a Democrat enters the presidency.

There is no need to be a bitch, floridafan. That is what I said. Democrats give Trump everything he asked for and more.
Since Trump was elected, I have been advising people to calm down. Look at your party if you want a chance at winning the next election. Your ilk is like racists who believe that everyone secretly agrees with them.
Your party is a war party, just like the Republicans.
