But he was wrong lol.

Amazingly wrong, for a ‘scholar’. The House has sole purview over impeachment—how many times have we had that lecture? The Senate has sole purview over the impeachment trial. The Chief Justice *presides* over the trial—as it is set up by the Senate and has nothing to say about whether witnesses are called or etc.

Pelosi has ZERO purview over the Senate trial.

It’s a big reason she’s sitting on the articles—the moment she lets go of them she becomes a spectator.
