I think it is a mistake to write off the Titans. Derrick Henry is on fire at the right time. They have already taken down the two favorites in NE and Baltimore.

Henry is the first RB to go over 180 yards in 3 playoff games. The man is a beast. He is 6'3", 247 lbs and can run a 4.5. He is also incredibly durable. In college he averaged 26 carries a game his last year at Alabama. He is a moose who runs like a deer. His burst leaves big men behind and he carries little guys.

And while Ryan Tannehill is no one's idea of a star NFL QB, in the playoffs he has torched opponents for big plays and TDs the few times he did throw. So you can't load the line.

Mahomes did an amazing job against Houston. But the Titans have managed a big difference in time of possession. NE & Baltimore both have excellent defenses. But they couldn't stop Henry, and that left the passing game open for some big plays. Not many passes, but the ones they made counted.

It should be a good game.

It's very simple. They need to start pretending that the first half of games actually matter. Carroll needs to coach like he's actually being paid to coach four quarters of football instead of only two. Problem solved.

Well we are better. Used to take 3 qtrs before the OC accepted that slow developing plays didnt work. Now its only 2 qtrs.
The D just needs to wake up in time for kick off. Slow out the gate or maybe it just takes a while for the drugs to kick in.

Maybe they could cut his salary in half and hire a second coach so they have one for each half?

They no longer have Thomas, Sherman, and Chancellor in the backfield. It's a mortal group of four (or five) back there now. While they continue to boast a solid front seven, the LOB enabled Carroll to run a really simple defensive scheme all game long. Even then, some games, like @STL and the NFCCC in 2013 still came down to the last play of the game, with the defense on the field.

KC is such a great team this year. They may just win it all.
