Default Michael Moore Predicts 2020 Trump Victory

Trump's Level Of Support "Has Not Gone Down One Inch"

In an interview with Amy Goodman of Democracy Now!, Michael Moore said if the election were held today that President Trump would win a second term. However, Moore predicted the Democratic candidate for president would win the popular vote count by 4 to 5 million people.

Moore warned the "problem" is support for Trump in the Midwest has not gone down by "one inch" and that Trump voters are "even more rabid" than before because they are afraid he may lose.

"I think if the election were held today," Moore said of a Trump victory. "Hillary won by 3 million popular votes. I believe whoever the Democrat is next year is going to win by 4 to 5 million popular votes. There’s no question in my mind that people who stayed home, who sat on the bench, they’re going to pour out, in California, New York and — you know, but also in Texas and whatever, I mean, places that Trump will probably win, but, yeah, there’s going to be a much higher percentage of people voting against him."

"The problem is, if the vote were today, I believe, he would win the electoral states that he would need, because, living out there, I will tell you, his level of support has not gone down one inch," he said. "In fact, I’d say it’s even more rabid than it was before, because they’re afraid now. They’re afraid he could lose, because they watched his behavior. So they are voracious in their appetite for Donald Trump. That’s the bad news.

Where the hell did you get that from? The jobs immigrants take are usually just simple labor jobs that don't pack enough dough for the American standard. They mostly take jobs that only exist because immigrant labor is cheaper than going with automation or because the usual American worker can't or won't do them for a living.

Croc: "... because the usual American worker can't or won't do them for a living."
Jack: That's the line the Ownership Class feeds to the Public.

Democrats have checked all the boxes: Blacks, LGBT, Hispanic, Muslim, ... except the one called 'The American Working Class'.

No, they have those type of jobs up here. I went to school with a few kids that migrated with families from Mexico. Another thing they do is to work under contractors to do grunt work. What many working-class wants just isn't feasible and no one can give it to them. Jobs are evolving and the labor jobs are becoming obsolete. So, unfortunately, the one that only skill set is labor is going to be very limited.

You know Croc, you remind me of this woman here. Loves immigration, thinks everybody should come here. Has no problem with turning America into a crowed China or India. Funny thing though, she escaped St. Louis and fled to an area less crowded. Remarkable.
You talk about your vast knowledge of the American Working Class, while never actually having a Job yourself. You pontificate about Labor as though you know it well and have first hand experience.

I think what you have in common is PC Fascist talking points. It sounds so wonderful, makes you very nice people, ... and you can fit right in at the 'Wine Caves'.

It's funny how the RWers absolutely loathe Michael Moore -- until he says something they're desperate to hear.

Did you know Capitalism is reliant on an ever expanding Consumer base?
And as Global Capitalism sweeps the Planet,
NO ONE will want to limit 'Consumption' or 'Consumers'.
Resulting in an OVER POPULATED Planet ...
that no one wants to curb.

Having said that I really don't understand why you want to vote for a Progressive aka Socialist Democrat.

Well, firstly, I try to take issue by issue and not rely on one person having all the answers.
YOU support the NHS (a socialist Health Care System), I support that as well. Something I think should be implemented in the US.
Does that make YOU a 'Progressive' or 'Socialist Democrat'?

Well, your attitude towards Owl moving out of a red state to retire in the snowy regions north has little on this. The fact of the matter isn't about immigrants it's about jobs becoming obsolete. Even if you somehow amazing put a halt on a lot of the illegal immigration it would change nothing for these jobs that are going the way of the dodo. The people that hired the immigrants would bite the bullet to automation since they aren't willing or able to pay workers a decent salary. The old labor industry jobs will continue to disappear as well.

whenever someone says "i cant find workers" its always "I cant find workers at prices i am willing to pay" If they increase wages americans would do those jobs.
