Biden has to be the nominee. The democrat party has no choice

The democrat party knows that they can't beat President Trump in 2020. Just like the RNC knew that Clinton couldn't lose and that Obama would likely win. With that said, the only play now is to try to limit their losses. Biden is the only rational play. If Sanders, Warren or the other crop of pseudo socialists gets the nomination they will get creamed by President Trump and that will set back the socialist train by decades. Socialism will have been on the ballot and will have gotten stomped.

The left can't afford for that to happen. They couldn't handle the optics.

So they are going to be stuck with child gropin, quid pro joe the gaffe machine. Trump will beat Biden worse than he beat Clinton. But the democrat party has no choice at this point
