    Default Cenk Uyger

Anyone watch the Young Turks or follow this guy's run for Congress? So he gets an endorsement from Bernie Sanders then some people go ape sh*t about past comments Uyger has made and Sanders pulls his endorsement. For those that watch the show do you like this dude?

He's extremely obnoxious. He also uses the "Young Turks" name as a reference to the organization that committed the Armenian Genocide.

All I remember about him is that he and his comrades went berserk on 2016 election night.
Abortion rights dogma can obscure human reason & harden the human heart so much that the same person who feels
empathy for animal suffering can lack compassion for unborn children who experience lethal violence and excruciating
    pain in abortion.

Unborn animals are protected in their nesting places, humans are not. To abort something is to end something
which has begun. To abort life is to end it.

His policies stances are just fine and truly Progressive.

Young Turks (Turkish: Jön Türkler, from French: Les Jeunes Turcs) was a political reform movement in the early 20th century that favoured the replacement of the Ottoman Empire's absolute monarchy with a constitutional government. They led a rebellion against the absolute rule of Sultan Abdul Hamid II in the 1908 Young Turk Revolution. With this revolution, the Young Turks helped to establish the Second Constitutional Era in 1908, ushering in an era of multi-party democracy for the first time..

    Dear Red-State Trump Voter,
Let’s face it, guys: We’re done.

It is a tragedy that so much of the work that so many men and women toiled at for so long to make this a better country, and a better world, has been thrown away, leaving us all in such needless peril.

This is why our separation in all but name is necessary.

Yeah, but it's hard to change minds for Progressivism when he acts so rude and supports genocide.

When and how did Cenk support genocide? And btw...FDR was a Progressive, as are the polices most Americans support despite the fact that many are too clueless to realize it.

In your opinion are progressives over reacting to his past comments? (which is why Bernie pulled his endorsement)

So point out the genocide he named his show for. It appears that is not why he adopted the name from what I have read.

The Armenian Genocide was done by the Young Turks. This would be like a German naming his show The Nazis.

It appears that is not why the name was chosen but nevertheless if Cenk is running for office I am sure it will come up, but I still support his policy stances.

Even if it wasn't the reason he used that name, he had to have known about the genocide. He may not be in favor of genocide, but at the very least, he's ok with genocide.

Especially the internment of American citizens. That FDR was a real progressive. Why wasn't he impeached? You don't think locking up American citizens for nothing is an abuse of power?

That is a very strange thing to assume about someone, especially when the history is a bit more complicated than that. His co-host happens to be of Armenian descent. Again, I like his stances on the policies.
