so SCOTUS is hearing a challenge to subpoenas -meaning Congress can't impeach for Obstruction to Congress,
since they didn't take it to court.

This is how the framers set up the solution to this very situation, should it ever occur.
When there is a dispute between the Legislative & Executive branches, it is then
taken to the Judicial branch to resolve.
The House ignored this crucial Constitutional step. This is why Jonathon Turley explained
that it is the House Dems who actually "obstructed Congress".
Several of the House Democrats should be impeached for pulling this shit.

    Yup. The boomerang effect.
Abortion rights dogma can obscure human reason & harden the human heart so much that the same person who feels
empathy for animal suffering can lack compassion for unborn children who experience lethal violence and excruciating
    pain in abortion.

Unborn animals are protected in their nesting places, humans are not. To abort something is to end something
which has begun. To abort life is to end it.

I'll type slower, because I see that it is you who is dense. The obstruction of Congress was one of the articles of impeachment. The SC is hearing the case that trump will lose re. his tax returns.

Nothing to do with the impeachment. Separate case altogether. One that will land trump et al in jail down the road.

The House should have taken the subpoena disagreement with the Executive branch to court. This SCOTUS case just blew up the whole he ignored our subpoena so we are justified in impeaching him. Now if Trump ignored the subpoena AFTER it was adjudicated in court then impeachment would be indicated.
    perfect description..well done

Congress says Trump obstructed Congress when he claimed executive privilege but the court just proved that subpoena needs to be upheld by the court before Trump has to obey it.
Big stretch. This has nothing to do with impeachment or the obstruction of Congress. I don't think executive privilege applies to private financial records.
