You are so right, Bigdog, for once. Libertarianism, the flipside of communism, is bullshit.

Communism is the total dissolution of gov't. Libertarianism is the limited gov't established at the founding of our nation, ... not "no government", like Somalia, the most communist country in our modern era.

You misdefine communism, which is the total assumption of government.

Libertarianism is a society of powerful equals the rub the face of the poor in the dirt. Washington and Adams and Hamilton and Madison and Franklin and Morris would whip those hionds through the hills as the filthy animals that they are.

And what in the Constitution of the United States gives the federal government authority to declare any drug 'legal' or 'illegal'? Remember, you can't use the 'welfare clause' to circumvent the Constitution. It is not a power or authority, but a directive (the reason for the powers and authority declared).

States can do that (if that is authority is granted in that State's constitution, many of them have that), but not the federal government.
