so you deny all the 8 USA intel groups that all agree what Russia did ?
the Bi Partisan senate investigation too
oh and all the other western worlds intel groups too
but you take Putins word for it
do you ever get tired of Putins cock in your mouth?
We are agreed, for the most part. Russia is not an expansionist nation. Pound for pound, the Russian soldier is tougher than our own because Americans would not tolerate their training methods. Anecdotally, I have known a few Russian conscripts. The slightest infractions or failures resulted in beatings.
Additionally, their weapons work. Russia would never put up with programs like the F-35 fiasco. Russia's GDP is equal to Italy's.

Our posture, as a presumptive global leader in liberal democracy and civil rights, should be as advocate for human rights whether it is in China, Russia, Africa, or elsewhere.
Obviously, we also need to have a serious conversation about the civil rights abuses in the United States, if our credibility is supposed to mean anything.
I do not think anyone ever suggested that there are only two polar opposites - human rights or realpolitik- and there is nothing, no gradation, in between them.
I consider realpolitik a word that is entirely nebulous, ill-defined, and too quickly thrown around. There would need to be a Socratic dialogue on what that word actually means; what its essence really is. Nebulous words are an impediment to knowledge and action.
As a practical matter, I do not see why it is impossible to both be an advocate for human rights, and to pursue the national geopolitical interests of the United States. I personally think there is a lot of overlap between them.
