Never was interested in one lol.

The Senate trial is essentially a jury trial presided over by the Chief Justice. The ‘jury’ hears the evidence then votes on it. A failed conviction means the defendant is innocent of the charges. Democrats can claim Trump was impeached—for whatever its worth but if they continue to claim Trump is guilty they will be making crap up.

    exonerate - Dictionary Definition : Vocabulary.com
    https://www.vocabulary.com › dictionary › exonerate
To exonerate someone is to declare him not guilty of criminal charges.

If you are not guilty, you are innocent.

Exoneration in the Senate, President Trump remains in office for five (5) more years. Nothing changes except the radical Democrat Socialists lose in 2020.

After the Senate trial and “not guilty” prevails, any radical Democrat Socialist who calls President Trump guilty will be lying.

There is a distinction with impeachment though.

For example, it was an established fact that Clinton committed perjury over sex. The Senate ruled/decided Clinton shouldn’t be removed over that.

The stunt democrats are trying to pull is to ‘establish the fact of guilt’ in a Senate trial. Notice how Nadler is *lying* about it being ‘a fact’ that Trump bribed/extorted/whatever the Ukrainians. IOW, if Democrats do ever actually vote and it moves to a Senate trial and it’s ruled that democrats can’t establish the fact of guilt—then Trump is effectively ‘exonerated’, innocent as fresh fallen snow or however you want to say it.

    Again.

No, criminal courts do not declare people innocent when they find someone not guilty beyond a reasonable doubt, a doubt which could reside in the mind of a single juror.

It is precisely the erroneous "obverse side of same coin" metaphor Mueller tried to explain away. "Had we been convinced Trump had not committed a crime, we would have so stated" - juries don't do that, they don't address that, the in quotes part.

I'm surprised you are so thick. Meh, no I'm not.

Acquittal is not a declaration of innocence.

They do not need to because they are PRESUMED innocent until PROVEN guilty.

So what crime has Trump committed?

That was a moronic statement by someone who was obviously an incapacitated moron. The SC doesn't determine innocence or exonerate; it finds evidence of crimes. They could not find any.

“No, criminal courts do not declare people innocent when they find someone not guilty beyond a reasonable doubt, a doubt which could reside in the mind of a single juror.”

This declarative sentence belongs in the Smithsonian under the heading of “dumbest sentence this year,”

You are “INNOCENT until proven guilty.”

If you are found to be not guilty, you are INNOCENT.

Particularly when Trump's acquittal is itself an act of treason.
