    I am thankful for this good news, that so far, our economy is humming along in spite of the horrible tax cuts for the 1% growing our debt and Trump’s tariffs bankrupting our farmers.

    Depends on who 'the people' are. In '16 50% of eligible voters weren't interested enough to vote.
