There is always going to be a subset of ppl who will believe anything that jibes with their preconceived notions aka confirmation bias. Nothing we can do about that. We can only hope to reach those who are open to reconsidering an opinion when presented with new information.
I freely admit to my own confirmation bias when it comes to 45. So far I have yet to see much, if any, redeeming qualities. RWers claim that the economy is so robust due to his actions. Yet despite my asking many times, none of them here (or elsewhere) have been able to point to any actions, EOs, regulations, policies, or anything else that Trump has specifically done that has helped the economy. We can certainly find a lot of things he has done/said that have harmed it -- starting with his ill-conceived tariffs. So we are left with the knowledge that this robust economy still belongs to Obama, and the Toadstool is (as always) just riding his coattails.
