If Republicans has this kind of evidence against President Obama they would totally have impeached him. It would have been their Constitutional duty to do so, just as it is now for Democrats, who btw did not choose the timing.

The Obama was virtually unimpeachable lol.

There was no impeaching the first black president. Everyone knows it. Not that I think he did anything impeachable. Impeachment is serious business to some of us. Though according to the Schiff Impeachment Play Book, Obama could have been vulnerable for Fast and Furious and perhaps in the Iran Deal under the ‘abusing power’ heading in the Schiff Impeachment Manual.

And oh, a transcript or two with whatever conversations he had with the Iranians could well have been ‘interesting’. But things like that take ‘whistleblowers’—which takes us right back to the first point about Obama being impeachable.

    Or not.
Coup has started. First of many steps. Impeachment will follow ultimately~WB attorney Mark Zaid, January 2017

I know, because I’m one of those Republicans. I voted against Trump in the primary and left my ballot blank in the general.

There is much about Donald Trump that I don’t like or support. There is much about his policies and what he has accomplished that I do.

I haven’t hesitated to criticize the president when he warrants it. From the start I said, often on Fox News, that Trump's July 25 call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was inappropriate. No president, or member of Congress, should ask a foreign nation to investigate political opponents. It was wrong when the president asked Ukraine to do that.”

why don't you grow up, put some substance behind your opinions.

The Democrats are bull rushing this through because they know they mad a calculated error.

their front runners are about to be held up in the Senate trial while the lesser clowns are on the campaign trail. At the most crucial time of any campaign.

I hope the Senate slow walks the next step, and I am sure they will.

President Trump has much to say about the impeachment but only if he is not sworn in.

He has zero to say under oath.

    Very telling.

Republicans only want to hear from Trump if he is not sworn to tell them the truth.

    Equally telling.

I agree the Articles of Impeachment should not be sent to the Senate without first hearing from the key witnesses. Giuliani, Pompeo, Bolton, Mulvaney, Pence, Perry, and now: Nunes. There is no point in trying to rush this through. The House can rush it all they want but has no control over how quickly it goes through the Senate. If Republicans feel it is in their political advantage to drag this out and into the primary season, then they have always had the power to do that. So the House needs to just slow down and do a thorough job. The House needs to fight the obstruction of justice by the WH no matter how long that takes. I don't care if we go to election day next November with impeachment news still dominating the headlines. So be it.

I see no cause for censure unless you are talking about Nunes for sitting on the Intelligence Committee hearings when he should have recused himself because he was personally involved in the scandal.

It’s months later and they still don’t have one. And they still haven’t voted. The only ‘impeachment vote’ they had lost a couple Democrats and got zero republicans. Even the squishy republicans didn’t bite on it.

What’s that tell you about their impeachment case? Don’t House Democrats recognize a Stop Sign when they see one?
What that tells me is that Trumpism is a cult, and power to them is like a drug to a junkie.

If Impeachment is serious why are Republicans treating it like a joke and posting 'lol' about it?

    You lie.

(CNN) “Neither President Donald Trump nor his attorneys will participate in Wednesday's House Judiciary Committee impeachment hearing, they said late Sunday.

In a letter to Chairman Jerrold Nadler, White House counsel to the President Pat Cipollone said, "We cannot fairly be expected to participate in a hearing while the witnesses are yet to be named and while it remains unclear whether the Judiciary Committee will afford the President a fair process through additional hearings. More importantly, an invitation to an academic discussion with law professors does not begin to provide the President with an semblance of a fair process. Accordingly, under the current circumstances, we do not intend to participate in your Wednesday hearing."
Cipollone accused the New York Democrat in the letter of "no doubt purposely" scheduling the hearing while Trump will be at a NATO meeting in London.“

    A NATO MEETING!
