Stopping in

I've been on other forums for the last couple of months, but I figured I'd stop by over here for a visit. I have been having fun as a progressive lefty on one site under one of my lefty names, and I have been Evmetro over at usmb. I knew when I moved on from JPP that I was leaving the best 1st amendment freedom of all the political board sites on the internet, and I can assure everybody that this is the case. I have had my wrists slapped by mods of other sites on a regular basis since I left here, so I am reminded pretty often of the 1st amendment freedom that JPP members enjoy.

Lefties all seem just as stupid on the other sites, so it's not like the JPP lefties are any worse than the other boards. I have yet to find a site where lefties are able to be objective, but I suppose an objective lefty is an oxymoron anyway.

Yep, the loon. I'll be able to post again Friday. I have to be more careful on USMB, almost all the moderators appear to be liberals and there are a LOT of people with VERY thin skin on that site.

Thanks. The ONLY thing we have to worry about on here is going over the line on 12b. It IS interesting that you can post ANYTHING you want concerning 12b on USMB and NOT get banned. Very strange.

12b was only a problem for me on this site because I had posted enough occasional clues for a member to exploit the rule to offend me. We must be very careful what we say on the internet, especially about young children. I suspect that the reason you don't see much concern about 12b on other sites is because lefties see it as just another weapon of political war.
