Well, since Trump’s defense rests on whether Hunter is dirty it only makes sense to investigate the Biden’s and Ukraine.

In other words, whether or not Democrats send articles of impeachment to the Senate, Graham is advocating for an investigation anyway. The investigation is inevitable if there’s going to be a Senate trial.

In a less insane political environment, before moving to impeach Trump over asking the Ukrainians to investigate the Biden’s, someone would have stepped up and said ‘hold on just a second, how do we know the Biden’s *weren’t* mixed up with corrupt Ukrainians?’

‘If it comes out that either Biden was involved with corrupt shenanigans this thing could blow up in our faces’.

That only makes sense, right? If the Biden’s are proven clean THEN you proceed to impeach Trump for asking the Ukrainians to investigate them.

All partisan politics aside, if you want to impeach the President for wanting the Bidens investigated, wouldn't you at least want to understand why he wanted them investigated.

The theory that Trump wanted a "political rival" investigated would only hold true if there was something they would find on that "political rival". otherwise Trump would look desperate and foolish when the said investigation found nothing.

Everyone is ignoring the elephant in the room, why and how did Hunter Biden get a job with a corrupt Ukrainian Oil Company paying him over half a million dollars a year.
