There is no way Trump supporters can be honest and support Trump. He lies too much. There is no honest way to do that.

Off subject some but I really think Trump would have been better off if upon election, he had taken Melania's and others' advice and acted presidential.

He has succeeded by being the uber prick liar that he is, in alienating and ginning up liberals into a rabid attack pack that will vote like never before.

He could have been presidential and supported all the (in my estimation) asinine policies that he does, but just not been such a lying asshole about them.

For instance the wall. He could have said I think there is a criminal element that is a danger and I think a wall would be efficacious as a complement to our
existing security. Instead he says, I think they are bad hombres and there might be a few good ones and they are rapists.

Ex 2. Muslim immigration ban. He could have framed it as countries that have a history of exporting terrorism, instead he declared a ban on a religion.

Ex 3. There is no upside whatsoever in insulting everyone intelligence with lies about his crowd sizes, or mocking a disabled reporter, or calling ALL media not Fox
fake.

Ex 4. Don't use idle threats. His brinkmanship in domestic quarrels is odious. Threatening to take FCC licensure away and such unconstitutional rubbish just makes
people hate him. Why? He can't do it. So why threaten it.

Ex 5. What took me so long. The tweeting. What Potus spends so many hours in reactive tweet mode and maintains any credible appearance of a hard working man?

Ex 6 Pushing aside foreign dignitaries.

Basically he is uncouth and has the bearing of a man raised by wolves. Couldn't the guy pretend to have basic dignity and respect for the office and not
act like an Amway salesman and pugilist at rest?

There's no way a person can be honest while denying all of those things, no question. But Trumpcucks could at least be honest in admitting they don't care. Instead of pretending there was no bribery, just come out and say, Trump tried to bribe Ukraine but I don't care because all I care about is him getting reelected. I seriously think that would work better. Right now, Centrists and Independents are mostly for impeachment because they know Republicans are lying. It would be a much better strategy to just honestly admit what Trump did and then try explaining why it doesn't matter.

People who are truly so brainwashed that they don't think Trump attempted bribery are very few in numbers. Most Trumpcucks just don't mind that Trump broke the law. A lot of them are probably even happy that Trump is willing to break the law to get reelected. These people are going to stand by Trump no matter what. However, if the Republicans want to win over some people from that 70% who accepts that Trump broke the law, they should try being honest. Try explaining to us why we shouldn't care that Trump is a criminal.
