"When government fears the people, there is liberty. When the people fear the government, there is tyranny."
A lie doesn't become the truth, wrong doesn't become right, and evil doesn't become good just because it is accepted by a majority.

What evidence is that?
Common sense is not a gift, it's a punishment because you have to deal with everyone who doesn't have it.
Quid pro quo, "this for that' is a poor description. Trump is wrong on both sides of that equation. He has no right to interfere in the aid the Congress passed for Ukraine. But as you would expect, he figured he could leverage it to his advantage. So he took it over. And of course, asking Ukraine to SAY they were investigating the Bidens to help his election is a typical Trump low. Both sides of it has Trump breaking laws and norms. Trump is disgusting.

Hello Nordberg,
Based on the evidence seen so far Trump is guilty. Also, President Trump had every opportunity to come, be sworn in, and give testimony under oath to tell the truth, if he wanted to tell his side of the story. With him spouting off on twitter we have no assurance that he's not lying. We should know better than to listen to President Trump unless he's sworn to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.
President Trump could still do that. What's he afraid of? Getting caught up in his own lies?

Trump knows the truth. That is why he refuses to testify under oath and prohibited anyone he ever met from answering subpoenas to testify. These are not the actions of an innocent man. I suspect Trump knows he is fading mentally. That is why no press conferences either. He should not run again, but he needs to get help from the statute of limitations. Many of his crimes will drop off the calendar. He does not want to spend his last years in courts or in jail.
