As to the topic of this thread, your consistently unpopular president did not make a "perfect phone call". That is a fact we can establish at this point with certainty, and no rightwing poster is even attempting to contest that it wasn't a perfect phone call.

The remaining ethical question at this point is whether or not you support using the office of the presidency to solicit foreign governments to undermine domestic political rivals of a sitting president.

More damning testimony is coming this week. Trump lied about the phone call and witnesses are parading through telling all that he did. Trump is a bad mafia boss. He permits too many witnesses. He is not careful. Republicans, many who are insiders, are simply stating the facts. Trump can't handle the truth.

I am encouraged that most Americans - outside of Trump boot-lickers at jpp.com - at least recognize how wrong it is to use the office of the Presidency to solicit a foreign government to undermine a domestic political opponent.

It is pretty self-evident to ethical human beings that there is something fundamentally wrong with that in a democratic republic.

It IS encouraging. I enjoy posting here but have noticed the tendency on my part to start thinking of all Toadstool followers as racist, stupid, and willfully-ignorant as most of them here are.
