I saw that. The league said there was no evidence to support that assertion. I mean, I wasn't there so obviously I can't say. But there were other players there, including Rudolph's black teammates. If he said something chances are someone else would have heard it. And if he really did drop the N-bomb chances are his black teammates may not have come to his defense like they did.

My guess is Garrett is doing anything he can to reduce the suspension and justify his actions and thus coming up with this excuse.

I watched the film clip and was pretty angry about it- Until they played it again in slow motion, and I saw the quarterback very nastily taunting the defensive player by trying to rip his helmet off first!

The Quarterback started the incident and should be equally fined!

Does it matter who paid for them? For all but those statistically few in the stadium football is paid for by the various sponsors on TV. You may pay for cable or dish or whatever but unless you are specifically buying the service just to watch football your payout for the sport is extremely small.
