In a backwoods tea-billy state like Indiana? Not shocked.
I read this story a few days ago and just wondered how old they were, how they came up through the ranks. I have no idea if they are elected or appointed in IND. I will say they are all newbies during the time of PENCE or his successor, his Lt. Governor (since 2 came in in 2017). They were headed to stripper bar and ended up at WHITE CASTLE.

Three Indiana judges were suspended this week by the Indiana Supreme Court because of a drunken brawl that left two of the judges shot and in serious condition.
The incident in question, NPR reports, took place back in May in the parking lot of an Indianapolis White Castle at 3 a.m.
Judges Andrew Adams, Bradley Jacobs and Sabrina Bell engaged in a fight with two men – Alfredo Vazquez and Brandon Kaiser – after Bell had flipped the two off as they were passing the parking lot in their SUV.
Vazquez and Kaiser parked their vehicle and confronted Bell. A physical altercation between the four men broke out, which eventually led to Kaiser drawing a gun and shooting Adams once in the stomach and Jacobs twice in the chest.
Both Adams and Jacobs required emergency surgeries and Jacobs was hospitalized for two weeks.
In its conclusion, the highest court in Indiana said that the trio "engaged in judicial misconduct by appearing in public in an intoxicated state and behaving in an injudicious manner and by becoming involved in a verbal altercation."
Kaiser was charged with 14 crimes related to the brawl, including 4 counts of felony aggravated battery, according to NPR.
Jacobs and Bell were both suspended for 30 days without pay, while Adams was suspended for 60 days without pay. Adams also pleaded guilty to one count of misdemeanor battery and was sentenced to 365 days in prison, but only had to serve two of those days...

Roe v. Wade, 410 U.S. 113 (1973), was a landmark decision of the U.S. Supreme Court in which the Court ruled that the Constitution of the United States protects a pregnant woman's liberty to choose to have an abortion without excessive government restriction. If the domestic taliban known as the "religious right" can't abide by that law of the land, they can pack up and go somewhere else. Don't let the door hit you on the way out.

What's hilarious is, you criticize others for being backwards, yet, you're too lazy, or stupid to just spell out Indiana.
I've been to Indiana many times, and have always found the people there to be very friendly, helpful, and intelligent. So, as usual, you're idiotic stereotypes are dead wrong, and you have no idea what you're talking about. Shocker.

REGARDING abbreviations? I mean really?
It elected MIKE PENCE and MITCH DANIELS. I'm sure there are many nice people there but NOT ENOUGH to keep the Pences and the Daniels out of government.
(Since I'M SURE you won't know who Mitch Daniels is, I'll shorthand it. OMB (Office of MANAGEMENT & BUDGET) under George W. Bush).
ADD: Guess I'm not the only one who remembered who MITCH DANIELS was...
JUL 26, 2018, EDITORIAL Chicago Tribune
To the editor: Mitch Daniels is once again trying to sell himself to a forgetful public as some kind of fiscal genius, this time chiding states for their uncontrolled debt and holding up the dire prospect that all the rest of us will end up paying to bail them out.
What kind of debt are we already paying for that we can attribute to Daniels himself? Daniels would like us to forget that he was director of the Office of Management and Budget under George W. Bush. At the time the United States was contemplating the war in Iraq, Daniels assured a skeptical Congress that such an action would be a very “affordable endeavor,” costing no more than $60 billion to $65 billion. He vigorously denied other estimates that placed the cost at more than $200 billion. All these figures are just laughable today. The real cost of war in the Middle East has now been conservatively estimated, not counting the devastation in human life, at more than $3 trillion and counting, light-years beyond what Daniels had predicted...

Other than the PUBLIC PIETY shit, god, mom and apple pie while he does TRUMP'S corrupt bidding? It's not hate, it's cause.
PS I actually started paying attention when he was governor. I had an Indianian NASCAR loving, 'get his hands dirty' RR (R A I L R O A D) customer who lit into Pence one day and it shocked the shit out of me. I did some research on him after that. So I was prepared when Trump picked him.
(PS I'd bet my next breath TRUMP can't stand Pence!!!!)

Not everyone appreciates how dangerous it can be to venture in the direction of a White Castle.

Waffle Houses in red states can be dangerous as well. A deranged right-wing racist went into one in Tennessee near Nashville, killing four and wounding two others.
