The president has the right to fire anyone under his employ for a good cause or no cause, he does not have the right to fire someone for bad cause. On its face it appears he fired her because she stood in the way of his corrupt effort to bully Ukraine.
She was clearly not corrupt, you really can’t assail her character, If they are smart they will not try. Why did trump fire this woman?

Donald Trumpf is an extraordinary and selfless corruption fighter, and for no personal gain or benefit to himself, seeks relentlessly to root out graft, fraud, and malfeasance in small to middling countries in Eurasia.
I assume it is all part and parcel of his long history of standing steadfast against corruption and advocating for clean government in nations on the other side of the planet.

Because Trump's plot to get Zelensky to make a public statement that he was investigating the Bidens worked better without witnesses. She was not capitulating and the plot worked better with no honest people too close. Yovanovich had no black marks in her 33 years ln the diplomatic corps. So she would not support the crooked plan. She had to go.
