How can you claim what Biden did was illegal but what Trump did was not?

SO Biden, under the direction of, and in accordance with President Obama's the State Department, demanded a corrupt prosecutor be fired (because he was refusing to investigate corruption) in exchange for release of aid money. This prosecutor was NOT investigating Biden's son, as some have pretended to believe, there is zero evidence of that. The demand was public and not a secret. The State Department wanted the guy fired for failure to investigate corruption.


Then Trump, in secret, without the knowledge of his own State Department, and not in accordance with stated American Foreign Policy, orchestrates a campaign to tell Ukraine, using back channels, that they must investigate Trumps opponent, (four years after the public actions of Biden) almost as soon as it was clear Biden was the most likely Democratic nominee to go against Trump, in order to get the military assistance they needed to defend against Russia.

If you cant see how one is legal and the other is not, no hope for you.



Now, lets add, clearly if what Biden did was illegal, what Trump did was also illegal. Why would trump ask for an investigation if he did not know it was illegal? If what Biden did was illegal, I think he should be prosecuted. If what Trump did was illegal, he should be impeached, removed and prosecuted. How could anyone disagree?

Also add that Trump tried to cover it up. Remember? Right? He had it put on a top secret server, hoping nobody would know about the phone call. It was only after the WB came forward that anybody found out about it. Trump was trying to sweep it under the rug. And he had Yavonavich fired because she objected to working Ukraine over for this hoped-for announcement on CNN that Biden would be investigated.

The whole thing stinks like a dead red herring.

And the Republicans that you can actually talk to? The ones who don't immediately insult you if you don't agree with them? (I'm talking about people in real life, not posters here) They don't want to even LOOK at the evidence. I have tried to get any of the people I know to comment on it, none will. Even if I email the freaking link to the Taylor Opening Statement directly to them. They just clam up. Either they never looked at it or they pretend they missed it. Can't get a single Republican to comment on it. They just change the subject, want to talk about Biden, anything else. It's freaking creepy, OK? I mean, I can understand being conned. If they got taken in by a pro conman, that's no fault. They didn't stand a chance. But these people are self-conning. They refuse to look at information that implicates Trump. They don't want to see it, are afraid to see it.

I just don't understand how somebody can think they are well informed if there is forbidden information they simply refuse to even look at. And this is stuff from the main stream news! Talk about a con job. I thought most people were smart enough to know that when Trump called the main stream media the enemy of the people they would know that was BS. But NO! They apparently took it hook line and sinker, swallowed it all down. There can't be any problem only listening to one power junkie, right? Letting one person dictate your view FOR you. This dovetails right in with how creepy it was back before the 2016 election, when Trump fans had this glassy-eyed look when they talk about him. I could clearly see that Trump had this Elvis-like adoration from the masses. And nothing seems to stick to him. He can do no wrong. Never has to answer for any of it.
