Default Uh oh, things just got A LOT worse for Trump, Rudy associate spills the beans

Giuliani Associate Says He Gave Demand for Biden Inquiry to Ukrainians

Not long before the Ukrainian president was inaugurated in May, an associate of Rudolph W. Giuliani’s journeyed to Kiev to deliver a warning to the country’s new leadership, a lawyer for the associate said.

The associate, Lev Parnas, told a representative of the incoming government that it had to announce an investigation into Mr. Trump’s political rival, Joseph R. Biden Jr., and his son, or else Vice President Mike Pence would not attend the swearing-in of the new president, and the United States would freeze aid, the lawyer said.

The claim by Mr. Parnas, who is preparing to share his account with impeachment investigators, challenges the narrative of events from Mr. Trump and Ukrainian officials that is at the core of the congressional inquiry. It also directly links Mr. Giuliani, the president’s personal lawyer, to threats of repercussions made to the Ukrainians, something he has strenuously denied.

But Mr. Parnas’s account, while potentially significant, is being contradicted on several fronts. None of the people involved dispute that the meeting occurred, but Mr. Parnas stands alone in saying the intention was to present an ultimatum to the Ukrainian leadership.

And remember PARNAS is speaking out of 'sour grapes'. Trump dissed him. Parnas is PISSED. Plenty of, repeat PLENTY of evidence that PARNAS thought he might be in 'in the in crowd'. More pictures of them together than TRUMP'S own denials.

He won't be called, shouldn't be, totally unpredictable, the night before Trump people could get to him and offer him a substantial to change his story, besides that, the GOP would portray him as a Attila the Hun, he'd be butchered infront do a live TV audience

True. But those FED boys and girls are pretty smart, they'll be sure he has 'the goods' before they cut and deals. (Christ, we're all talking like mob members now). We need to give Parnas a mob name. Lev "Arm & Hammer" Parnas.

How is this bad for Trump? We already know the Trumpcucks don't care. He'll get impeached, the Republicans won't vote to remove him, he'll get reelected.

    yes.....https://slate.com/news-and-politics/...te-bidens.html

The Ukraininina official they met with, Serhiy Shefir, also denies the allegation, saying that while the meeting did take place, the issue of military aid was not brought up.

While the first point you made is a foregone conclusion, the second point is a virtual certainty, and the third point is highly likely, the fourth point is not so clear.

Certainly his devoted base will come out in strength, but a lot of independents are as sick and tired of his nonsense as anyone else. And he can't win without a majority of the independent vote.

Granted, but most Independents didn't like him during the last election, either. What really won the election for Trump was the DNC running a Centrist establishment candidate that most Democrats and Independents were lukewarm about. And it looks like we're getting another Centrist establishment candidate this time in Joe Biden.

I don't buy the notion that the Dems weren't far enough to the left. Aamof, I reject it out of hand.

Hillary lost because 77,000 morons in three states decided to throw a temper tantrum.

Progs have this naive notion that everyone else thinks the same way they do, in much the same way that Trumps teabaggers think everyone else does the same on their side. This kind of naivete by the Progs is the same kind that made them believe Bernie Sanders' empty, bullshit promises that he could deliver free college tuition AND free health care.

There is a huge swath of common sense centrists, both registered Dems and Independents, who have not gone over the loony left edge, and who will steadfastly refuse to vote for an extremist, sjw Prog ding-a-ling who runs on gimmicks and attempts to con people into voting for them by supporting things we all know will never happen as long as there are Republicans and red state Democrats in the Senate.

Without a 2/3 supermajority of Senators willing to vote for such far left, progressive policies, they'll never see the light of day. And because we know that, we aren't going to vote for these people under any circumstances.

If the Dems nominate a Progressive next year, I'll withhold my POTUS vote or write in Biden's name.

If that reelects Trump, then so be it.

Let the Progs choke on it.

Despite what the media says, ideas like universal health care and affordable college aren't really "far left" anymore because the majority of Americans now want these things. It's funny, most Americans identify as conservative, but when you actually talk to these people and look at studies on which policies have support, you see that most Americans actually are way more liberal than conservative.
Now it is true that the president needs to work with congress, but that's where compromise comes in. Maybe Andrew Yang can't get us $1000 a month, but he's able to get us $500. However, if the nominee is an establishment-approved Centrist, things stay the same, which doesn't motivate people to get out and vote. Hillary Clinton isn't terrible, but she's bad enough that people didn't care enough to come out in droves to vote for her.

Now with all that being said, I'm going to vote Democrat no matter who the nominee is, because there is no way anyone could be worse than Trump. However, I think a true Leftist outside of the establishment would have a much better chance of beating Trump than Biden would.
