Not an argument most manufacturing is in the north were the south is more agricultural. So it stands to reason the northern states would be richer. But what you have lost sight of is every state contributes to the success of the country that is why we are the United States. Quit fighting the Civil War it's over get on with life.

IF you have any doubts at all whether (R) policies work in real life, you only have to look at Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama, Kansas, Ohio, and the rest. Lowest per capita incomes*, higher rates of obesity/diabetes/infant mortality**, and so on.

Instead, he revels in driving a wedge between the few who support him and the majority of us just regular Jane and Joe Citizens. Can you think of any other presidents who, when faced with a natural disaster in one or more of our states, threatened to cut off FEMA aid simply because they didn't vote for him, like Cheeto threatened California recently?
