Truth hurts

Liberals in particular have a difficult time with truth. They have subjective morals or no moral compass at all - so this can lead to accountability issues. If one is not held accountable for his or her actions they are free to do as they please with no respect of right vs wrong. And typically, they tend to get their emotions tangled into their political beliefs. I mean severely tangled. That's why its usually the liberal that goes ballistic on the conservative and not the other way around. So if you are basing your political constructs around what your head and your emotions are telling you, truth becomes secondary to both empathy and anger, for example. This is why you can rarely win arguments with leftists. They can be self assured that their emotional bond to a certain political issue cannot be broken. In that case, you could literally catch the crime on video and it's highly probable they would still maneuver towards what they deem as a resolution and a win.
