Which is why you spend all your time on JPP and not doing any actual job.
Why should they know the history over knowing their uses?

    Uh, no.

I'm retired. I do, however, find it amusing that some of the parts I made while I worked at my last employer are being outsourced because they cannot find anyone capable of making what I did.

odd you think I don't understand that, since its inherent in my statement.......at least then we agree that Gonnzo was wrong when he said the problem was insurance companies denying coverage to increase their profits........the problem is insurance providing too much coverage........Medicare is part of the collusion process........

So then you don't know shit. So when you said "as a machinist" or "toolmaker", you were exaggerating because you're neither of those things.

So why do you feel compelled to lie and exaggerate about yourself on the internet?

    As usual, you're fucking wrong.

INsurance companies denying coverage is one of the reasons why insurance companies should be abolished.

To this day, not a single person has been able to make the case for private health insurance.

You think insurance is providing too much coverage? What insurance plan do you have? And what does "too much coverage" mean?

Medicare is part of the collusion process
    Wrong.

Medicare is prohibited from negotiating for lower costs and prescription drugs thanks to the Medicare Part-D bill you Conservatives passed during Bush the Dumber.

Why not the in-depth knowledge of their uses over their history?

I am both, retirement doesn't take away my professional knowledge. What makes you think retirement forfeits a person's ability to do what he's done all his life?

So you're retired, except you're not, but you're working, except you're retired.

So you exaggerated your personal history, then revised it, and now you're revising it again all so...what...you don't have to admit you're full of shit?

If you did admit you're full of shit, we could have an honest conversation. But you seem determined not to have one. So ::shrugs::

You sit on your fat ass, collecting Social Security you didn't earn, while lying about your personal history to lend yourself credibility on an anonymous message board.

    Total fucking loser.

This sounds all made up to me.

You've already exaggerated your character's backstory on this very thread, so I can't really believe anything more you say about yourself.

Not everyone who is retired is drawing SS.

Some never paid into SS and retire on Civil Service...for which they paid their entire careers.

Before I retired, I conducted interviews for our machine shop. We had both manual machines and a few CNC's. A few of the younger "college educated" ones could program the CNC's but had no clue how to set up and run a manual machine, much less make (for example) a threading tool. Toolmaking is becoming a lost art, they all think inserts are the norm and they don't teach it in schools anymore.
