Good point, ... and before President Trump's election, that scenario was believed to be inevitable.

Apple caves to Chinese Socialism ...

"Earlier this week, Apple removed the Taiwan flag emoji from iOS 13 for users in Hong Kong and Macau at the request of the Chinese government, which treats any suggestion that Taiwan, Tibet, Hong Kong, and Macau should be considered independent entities as an offense to the sovereignty of the People's Democratic Republic of China.

Last week, the company banned the HKmap Live app that allowed Hong Kong protesters to track police movements. (It has since approved the app, but earned the widespread ire of the Chinese state media for doing so.) Apple has made numerous other concessions over the years, including removing VPN apps from the Chinese App Store and censoring Hong Kong singers from the Chinese version of Apple Music.

But Apple’s actions come amid an especially contentious period between China and American businesses. The Hong Kong protests began in February of this year over a deeply controversial extradition bill and have only intensified as the Chinese government has moved to crack down on the movement. They have since become a heated flash point for debates about China’s authoritarian rule and the impositions the country places on foreign businesses to maintain good standing within the country’s massive economy. I like NBA hoops, especially Kawhi Leonard. SDSU alumni, plays the game at both ends hard, keeps his mouth shut, wins.
The klaw. King of the north. Soon to be King of LA. NBA starts mid-late October. Tune in!

Damn China pays NBA major bank for NBA. I would be loath to badmouth them too. NBA is all in with China.
    They love our sport.

And it’s truly amazing the firestorm this single tweet from Morely has caused. And a lot of previously woke NBA folks are now keeping their mouths shut because of money
Yeah, the Kap thing quickly morphed from "fry them like Bacon" to ... hatred of the symbol, the Betsy Ross flag, of the beginning of this great nation that made him a zillionaire.

NBA will defend Communism in China with next to zero individual rights and freedoms of expression. At the
same time the NBA will boycott North Carolina over usage of bathrooms. Bunch of hypocrites.
Abortion rights dogma can obscure human reason & harden the human heart so much that the same person who feels
empathy for animal suffering can lack compassion for unborn children who experience lethal violence and excruciating
    pain in abortion.

Unborn animals are protected in their nesting places, humans are not. To abort something is to end something
which has begun. To abort life is to end it.
