Default "catastrophic mistake" ... from Red Team.

"Liz Cheney calls Trump's Syria move 'a catastrophic mistake'"
    https://thehill.com/homenews/house/4...rophic-mistake

"Withdrawing U.S. forces from northern Syria is a catastrophic mistake that puts our gains against ISIS at risk and threatens America’s national security," Cheney, a defense hawk who has become one of the leading voices on foreign policy in the Republican Party, said in a statement. "Terrorists thousands of miles away can and will launch attacks against America, as the United States learned on September 11, 2001."

“Pulling out of northern Syria ignores that painful lesson, represents an abandonment of our Kurdish allies despite their vital contributions to the fight against ISIS, emboldens Iran, and serves as an undeserved gift to the Erdogan regime, which has only continued its steady march toward Moscow," she said, referring to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan."

At this point, I'm thinking Trump is terrified of Impeachment, so starts a war that nobody wants ... just to get people talking about something other than IMPEACHMENT.

Of course. When a far righty hawk comes out against Trump's actions, it is news. The Kurds fought alongside the US against ISIS. Now Turkey is bombing them. So again Trump discards allies when he has used them up.

"In 2004, Jordan’s King Abdullah II used the term “crescent” to warn against the expansion of Iranian influence in the Middle East. This was later picked up by then Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak who said, in an interview with Al-Arabiya, that Shias in Iraq and across the Middle East “are more loyal to Iran… not to the countries they are living in.”

The most catastrophic mistake was not trying her father for war crimes. I blame this on the Neo-Liberals and complacent Americans and after a debacle such as that, why would ignoring the rule of law and The Constitution not become as commonplace as it has?
    BLUEXIT
A Modest Proposal For Separating Blue States From Red

    Dear Red-State Trump Voter,
Let’s face it, guys: We’re done.

It is a tragedy that so much of the work that so many men and women toiled at for so long to make this a better country, and a better world, has been thrown away, leaving us all in such needless peril.

This is why our separation in all but name is necessary.
