Impeachment can only come by a vote of the full house, but the investigation can occur in any manner whatsoever, It doesn’t even have to be an investigation.

Show us where the Constitution gives the speaker of the house sole authority over impeachment. You can't, because it doesn't. It reads The House. It also doesn't read, select Democrat Party Committee members.
