Default Whistleblower contacted Schiff before filing complaint: report

The CIA officer whose whistleblower complaint is at the center of the impeachment inquiry into President Trump consulted with the House Intelligence Committee before filing it, The New York Times reported Wednesday.

The whistleblower initially had a colleague convey his concerns that Trump asked Ukraine's leader to intervene in the 2020 presidential election to the CIA's top lawyer before going to Congress, current and former officials told the Times.

After concerns about how the internal CIA process was proceeding, the whistleblower then reportedly spoke to an Intelligence Committee staff member who suggested that the person hire a lawyer and file a complaint.

The staffer shared part of the whistleblower's concerns with the committee's chairman, Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.), but did share the person's identity with anyone, according to the Times.

This impeachment BS is falling apart and won’t even get to the Senate. The Dems are scared Schiffless about discovery.

    President Trump just mentioned this,

The Whistle-blower (spy) violated the rules in his partisan effort to harm the president.

The whole scam is a fanatical, partisan effort by the radical Democrat Socialists to negate an election which President Trump won.

Middle Americans do not like Congress to unseat a president that they elected.

Thanks to Trump, nobody knows what a coup is anymore.

A coup is an illegal and violent overthrow of a leader. A coup is NOT a legal attempt at removing a leader.

    what colleague? why the conspiracy?

that's the coordination and lawyering up that changes this from a simple complaint to a orchestrated
conspiracy involving Schiiff and the complaintant
    .

He should have been directed directly to the ICIG -not a (Democratic) lawyer!

It's time that this whistleblower is executed, ASAP....

And Schiff should also be executed for treason because he was the one who ordered it

You know, when I think about it....this is above Schiff, only one person could have ordered this....Obama...and Soros financed the whole thing -- both of them also should be executed....Obama's wife and daughters should also warrant some investigation -- what do we know about their actions during all of this??
