    Default Imagine

    Imagine there's no Heaven
    It's easy if you try
    No hell below us
    Above us only sky
    Imagine all the people
    Living for today

    Imagine there's no countries
    It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
    And no religion too
    Imagine all the people
    Living life in peace

You may say that I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one

    Imagine no possessions
    I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
    A brotherhood of man
    Imagine all the people
    Sharing all the world

You may say that I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will live as one

I play this on the piano. Socialistic as it is, I like it.
Excellence is an art won by training and habituation. We do not act rightly because we have virtue or excellence, but rather we have those because we have acted rightly. We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit.
    - -- Aristotle

Believe nothing on the faith of traditions, even though they have been held in honor for many generations and in diverse places. Do not believe a thing because many people speak of it. Do not believe on the faith of the sages of the past. Do not believe what you yourself have imagined, persuading yourself that a God inspires you. Believe nothing on the sole authority of your masters and priests. After examination, believe what you yourself have tested and found to be reasonable, and conform your conduct thereto.
    - -- The Buddha

It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it.

Ahahahahah, do you sing the Socialist music, too? My accapella trio use to perform it!
It is a favorite of mine, naturally, the little socialist I am always accused of being!

The lyrics reveal how deluded John Lennon really was.

Mark Chapman was a lot more deluded, but then again, most Christians are.

Hey now froggie only certain types of genius are allowed. Mainly the kind that have to do with profit.

    Dude who shot John Lennon.

Honestly though. The Beatles have a lot of great songs like Yesterday, Penny Lane, Eight Days a Week, and so forth. Why waste your time with the handful of stupid trite like Imagine?

And then of course, McCartney went on to sing the greatest Bond theme ever! Can't wait for Quantum of Solace this November.

I hope Mark Chapman is regularly raped in prison, beaten by the guards and develops a serious rash. Then I hope he dies a slow painful death and spends eternity in a fiery hell.

You might have noticed, I sort of dislike the man.

I still think the NYPD should have lost the evidence, then decide they had to release him for lack of evidence. They could have announced when & where they would have released him. The public would have saved us a lot of money.

I never pay attention to things like that, thanks for the reminder.

I can hardly wait till Quantum, also! I am a huge Bond fan!

I love all the songs by the Beatles!
