Default The High Cost Of Voting In A Democracy

Nobody in Colonial America fought for democracy. A century or so after the U.S. Constitution was ratified democracy reared its ugly head flying the banner of Socialism.

In the early years of Socialism voting for U.S. Senators was a battle cry for the XVII Amendment. Before Socialists got what wanted they had to con Americans into believing that voting for U.S. Senators would get rid of the crooks. So how did that work out? Answer: Not well at all.

Democracy is a pathetic belief in the collective wisdom of individual ignorance. H. L. Mencken

In the decades after the XVII Amendment gave the country senators elected by the people Americans were told that democracy is the only thing that protects the Right to vote. That lie was essential in order to stop free people from examining the real cost of voting in a democracy. To this day very few Americans realize that lost liberty in a democracy costs a helluva lot more than any benefit they get from democracy’s version of EVERYBODY’S Right to vote.

According to Democrats, getting into this country by hook or crook gave everybody the Right to vote in fair —— and rigged —— elections. Ten million non-Americans are expected to vote in 2020 if Democrats can successfully block voter registration; i.e., proof of American citizenship. At least one federal judge did her part in getting illegal aliens to the polls. (How many of those parents will vote next year?)

A federal judge on Friday blocked the Trump administration’s attempt to implement regulations that would allow immigration officials to indefinitely detain migrant children and their parents.

Incidentally, they are illegal aliens not migrants.

Judge Dolly Gee in Los Angeles ruled that the administration will not be allowed to enforce new rules that would end the Flores Agreement, a decades-old court settlement that says migrant children cannot be held more than 20 days.

If illegal aliens, felons, and asylum seekers voting in our elections is so important try this if you cannot put in with my hatred of democracy:

Strengthen the Right to vote in every election FOR AMERICANS ONLY with one exception —— nobody has a Right to vote in elections for U.S. Senators.

After the Right to vote is secure for AMERICANS ONLY dump all of the garbage parasites practice in their democracy.

Note that democracy’s champions can only govern in a totalitarian form of government. That is exactly what demonstrators in Hong Kong and elsewhere demand. Naturally, demonstration organizers the world over expect to administer their democracy in addition to making a few bucks from the new deal.

Finally, I knew that FOX went liberal when the Murdoch Boys gave all of those liberals unlimited face time. Now my gal Judi tells me that the most despicable Speaker of the House ever to bang a gavel ——Paul Ryan —— is steering the ship before he takes command. Despicable is saying a lot when you compare Ryan to Diarrhea Mouth Pelosi:

Former House Speaker Paul Ryan, who currently sits on the board of Fox News Corp., and who, according to Vanity Far, is reportedly urging Fox News to “decisively break” with President Donald Trump—news in the magazine’s report documenting the network’s “management bedlam”. Paul Ryan’s dirty business in not a bad thing if he unintentionally convinces FOX’s remaining conservative audience they are being conned into watching another liberal network.

p.s. Marcus Junius Brutus did not stab Julius Caesar in the back as many times as Ryan’s running mate, Brutus Romney, stabbed Trump. Here is the latest stab:

If the President asked or pressured Ukraine’s president to investigate his political rival, either directly or through his personal attorney, it would be troubling in the extreme. Critical for the facts to come out.

p.p.s. If Romney is Brutus, than Paul Ryan is surely Cassius:

    Julius Caesar
    Act 1: Scene 2

ANTONY MISJUDGES CASSIUS: Fear him not, Caesar; he's not dangerous; He is a noble Roman and well given.

CAESAR: Seldom he smiles, and smiles in such a sort
As if he mock'd himself and scorn'd his spirit
That could be moved to smile at any thing.
Such men as he be never at heart's ease
Whiles they behold a greater than themselves,
And therefore are they very dangerous.

The basic test of freedom is perhaps less in what we are free to do than in what we are free not to do. It is the freedom to refrain, withdraw and abstain which makes a totalitarian regime impossible. Eric Hoffer

Trump should have done this before he endorsed Brutus Romney for the Senate:

    Big Ben had it right:

“Pompous ass” is a gentle putdown considering what Brutus has been all of his two-faced life:

    Donald J. Trump
    @realDonaldTrump

Mitt Romney never knew how to win. He is a pompous “ass” who has been fighting me from the beginning, except when he begged me for my endorsement for his Senate run (I gave it to him), and when he begged me to be Secretary of State (I didn’t give it to him). He is so bad for R’s!
