Only one pawn shop I know of around here and they don't take firearms of any type. I could be wrong.

Saying Beto is an idiot is an understatement.
Common sense is not a gift, it's a punishment because you have to deal with everyone who doesn't have it.

A government buy ‘back’ means the government would be competing in the used gun market. IOW, they would be competing against pawn shops and private buyers in the used gun market. Before anyone sells their gun ‘back’ to the government they’re going to see what they can get out of it in the private market.

Granted, there would be small segment of virtue signalers that would sell their guns ‘back’ to the government for less than what it would fetch in the private market. But the only way the government would be an effective competitor would be to meet the market price.

Which would get real expensive really quick. And have little to no effect on the number of guns in circulation.

    IOW, a typical lefty initiative.
Stop referring to this as a "buy back". I didn't buy my guns from the government, this is confiscation. And where would they get the money for this? Well, from me of course. Sooooo, they are "buying back" the guns with our own money. This wouldn't be a "buy back"

There's only one step needed if you think AR-15s should be taken away. It involves YOU getting off YOUR whiny ass and personally trying to take them from those of US that own them.

It's voluntary so it's not confiscation. They're not forcefully taking them and paying you. That would be Imminent Domain of sorts.

I watch Pawn Stars (Nevada), and the owner is always stating he legally can not purchase or sell firearms made after 1899 because he would need a license to do so.

It's great to see that colt is raising the value of genuine colt AR 15s.

It’s apparently worth the cost of a license in WV.

Pawn Stars is a high end pawn shop that deals in a lot of exotic stuff.
