Why did an INTEL officer decide he had to act and triggered WHISTLEBLOWER status, sending it through his chain of command to the office of the IG who thought it credible, serious and TROUBLING and took it to the DNI! The (ACTING) DNI has apparently SHUT IT DOWN (or told to).

Anyone think Trump had been talking to MERKEL, Macron or one of the leaders even if they weren't one of our BFFs, and made them some promise, this would have happened? Who the hell was it and what did he promise? The GANG of 8 wants to know. Subpoenas are FLYING.

On Wednesday, the Washington Post reported that the source of the whistleblower complaint currently being suppressed by the Director of National Intelligence is a phone conversation between President Donald Trump and a foreign leader.

According to the report, the whistleblower became aware that the president made a “promise” to this unspecified foreign leader, and was so disturbed by the nature of that promise that he or she filed a complaint through channels set up to help whistleblower claims involving classified information.

Congress is set to receive a briefing on the complaint from the intelligence community inspector general in a closed-door hearing on Thursday...

Many are speculating about this but the most convincing one I have heard is that it might have something to do with Trumps fat trap outing the operative (spy) who was extracted and who had infiltrated the Russian government. Maybe Putin wants the guy and Trump promised to comply. All speculation but a convincing and plausible one indeed.
