That is the choice of the Auto Company's. I hope the auto company's just ignore Trump and build what they can sell.

Amen to that! Let's just rid of their electoral college and call it a day already. It is time the minority face the cold hard facts that they do not get to rule the majority.

You realize that the citizens of Cali could say to automakers we want cars with lower emmissions, thats what we will buy. Do that and car makers will give them what they want.

The reason for the electoral college is so the majority does not rule. That goes against American principles. Not that anyone would expect a dumb Democrat to know that.

The framers of the constitution consciously and purposefully put the ability to amend the constitution into that document, realizing that times change, priorities change, and future generations should have a say in how the process of self-government works.

California is woefully under-represented at the federal level. I believe the maxim one America-one vote is the very pinnacle of fairness.

Before you start complaining about California being unfair, it is incumbent upon you to realize that tiny, sparsely populated conservative states have long had disproportionate power to dictate to California what our national priorities should be.

Would/did you say the same after California voters passed Prop 187 (eliminating services to people here illegally) and Prop 8 (preventing gay marriage) and the courts over turned them?

Once again the degenerate continues to show how uneducated he is. The moron doesn't even comprehend the very basics of how our government works. Yet he continues to whine and complain as if he has a valid point.

For the moron... the HOUSE is where you have equal representation based on population. The SENATE is where each STATE has equal representation.

Do try to educate yourself. Also do get professional help for your despicable degenerate self.

If California and other states want to have more stringent standards, than the national baseline, that is within their authority.

This has nothing to do with science or law. It has everything to do with a petulant man-baby who wants to overturn everything Obama or California did, out of sheer spite.

Improved fuel standards are one of the most effective things we can do in an attempt to slow human emissions of heat-trapping greenhouse gases.
No moron, that is not the case at all. Automakers do not make vehicles that vary on emissions. By going higher than the national requirement, CA is trying to dictate policy for the country.
