Default So what is Trump going to do with Iran?

Obvious they are calling his bluff, showing him they can disrupt the global economy any time they want, that his tough guy rhetoric is just that, rhetoric. They have become more aggressive and now within a couple of years will have a bomb. Certainly they saw how Little Rocket Man played Trump

Additional sanctions ain't doing it, and with Trump dissing our traditional allies, good luck formulating a coalition of meaningful meknees to jointly confront Iran. He can't go to the UN, they laughed in his face the last time he appeared there, and Russia and China are waiting to pick up the consequences of what ever happens to strengthen their positions

So, what is Trump going do?

    it's up to KSA

Saudi Arabia joined a U.S.-led coalition to secure sea lines vital to oil shipping in the Middle East in the aftermath of a devastating attacks on Aramco’s oil facilities.

The International Maritime Security Construct’s area of operation covers the Strait of Hormuz, the world’s most critical waterway for oil supplies, the Strait of Bab al-Mandab, the Gulf of Oman and the Persian Gulf. The move aims to support efforts to thwart threats to trade as well as guarantee energy security, the state-run Saudi Press Agency reported.

A showdown between Iran and the Trump administration after the U.S. pulled out of the 2015 nuclear agreement with the Islamic Republic has threatened shipping in the region. Attacks on tankers and drones prompted the U.S. to call for a coalition of allies to protect ships passing through the area.

About 40% of the world’s seaborne oil travels through the Strait of Hormuz. The U.S. and U.K. have stepped up their military presence in the region amid calls to ensure the waterway remains open.

The International Maritime Security Construct task force is headquartered in Bahrain, and its members include the U.S., the U.K., Australia as well as the host country.

Shaped like an inverted V, the waterway connects the Persian Gulf to the Indian Ocean, with Iran to its north and the United Arab Emirates and Oman to the south. Its shallow depth makes ships vulnerable to mines, and the proximity to land -- Iran, in particular -- leaves large tankers open to attack from shore-based missiles or interception by fast patrol boats and helicopters.

And that is it? If Iran has escalated their efforts, up the ante, why do you think efforts the US has already attempted will be effective now if they didn't scare off the Iranians enough to launch a drone attack?

Lest we forget, Iran is on the State Dept. list of state sponsors of terrorism.

Have been for a long time.

They can not be allowed to have nukes.

If you support terrorism, you are a terrorist.

The intel in the Iraq war was read by Pelosi and Reid and they voted to stop Saddam.

He was stopped and the oil flows and there are free elections.

    Success.

That is why we had an anti-Nuke Deal with them and 6 other countries. It was a great breakthrough that eliminated Iran's nuke threat. I am sure you were pleased when Obama did that.

The nuke threat was not eliminated. Their military bases were off limits to inspectors.

The pallets of money released to Iran has financed their terrorism.

It was an attack on Saudi Arabia. WHAT ... is Saudi Arabia going to do about it? Ask Americans to fight for ARAMCO, the Saudi owned oil company.
