The body naturally craves
meat (beef, fowl, pork, organs, egg yolks, etc.) and whole foods (fewer than 4 ingredients on a label),
healthy fats (non plant based oils like olive, coconut & avocado) also from walnuts, pumpkin seeds, almonds
and full fatted dairy like heavy cream, butter, plain Greek yogurt
and healthy carbs from dark greens (kale, bok choy, spinach, cabbage, etc.)
Health issues are rampant from sugar and carbs entering the picture. These strip the body of processing other healthy nutrients,
decrease the body of testosterone, estrogen, create insulin problems, obesity, cause inflammation, heart disease, stroke.
The body creates its own cholesterol (which we need). The cholesterol myth has been exposed. Big Pharma went nuts with since the 50's, statins
became the new "must have" for older people robbing them of the very thing needed for
brain health (cholesterol).
Any coincidence that Alzheimer's became so rampant? I don't think so.
There is no such thing as "bad" cholesterol. LDL particles are the containers that transport cholesterol through your blood stream, they are needed.
The focus of concern should be on your triglyceride lab report,
not HDL & LDL cholesterol!
If you want a true assessment of the condition of your total cholesterol, ask your doctor for a NMR test on it, not the basic one most of us get.
The NMR will show whether your cholesterol particles are large and fluffy (good) or small and dense (not so good). It is
not a
matter of HDL
or LDL...............it's about the condition of the particles of
both of them.
