A better response I think. Assuming, of course, that it IS Iran. Such an attack would inhibit the use of their largest natural resource, strangling them financially. Since Iran is based on gold and has no gold stored in any U.S. influence, this is an effective technique. The cost of war would devastate their gold supply as well.
