I addressed her point straight on. Why do she care about low rates today yet not say a word or the past half decade.

The Fed raises rates when the economy is recovering. It is one of the major tools the fed has to kep the enemy from crashing. When they can , they bring it up to be available when it is really needed. Bigdog obviously was unaware of the economic conditions that Obama inherited. We were talking a 2nd great depression and we were in crisis mode. The Fed was just trying to save us. He is dumb enough to think it was about helping Obama. Obama was like other presidents. Once a guy is in charge of the Fed he gets a 10 year term and the president does not tell him what to do. Their goals are sometimes at odds. Trump breaks through every single accepted wall in his desire to make himself look better. Trump is a dangerous and scary guy. He wants to control the whole system to his benefit.

No moron, the economy sucked under Obama. The only reason he squeaked out positive GDP growth was because the Fed kept rates between 0-0.25% for almost the entirety of his tenure. He also benefited from the massive overspending of the QE programs. That is why we added $10T under his admin in debt.
