I'm for this. Someone from a thugocracy/drugocracy like Guatemala should apply for asylum in Mexico, not skip it and
apply in the US. If someone doesn't try that, it is clear that person just wants to come to the USA, and that is proof they don't qualify.
The USA is not here to supply social justice to all the inhabitants of the globe.

3rd country rule. The safety is irrelevant. People who pass through Guatemala don't get to go to Mexico under the rule even though Guatemala itself isn't unsafe. Just pure evil and fuck you you human garbage.

Just another way of America saying "not my problem". It's an evil rule with no basis in our treaties and laws. It also would've banned the asylum seekers in the Holocaust who were denied under our evil laws. It flies in the face of the very reason the treaties were written, all in favor of making it "not my problem". Evil rule and evil people support it. You can't deport someone back to an unsafe country no matter where they passed through under the treaties. You can't deport them to Mexico either under the treaties, that's not how it works. Legal nonsense with no consideration for others legitimate concerns about where they may best find safety for themselves and their family. No vetting is done about the legitimacy of their concerns, all that the evil American empire cares about is making it somebody else's problem.
